Man Stabbed In Spokane Park

From Staff And Wire Reports

A 33-year-old man was stabbed just after midnight Wednesday at High Bridge Park in west Spokane, police said.

The victim told police a man he knows only as “Mouse” stabbed him in the back.

He suffered a wound below his neck near his spine. He was in serious condition Wednesday morning at a Spokane hospital, according to police.

Police wouldn’t identify the victim, who gave no motive for the attack.

Officers recovered a fixed-blade knife believed to have been used in the stabbing, but couldn’t find the suspect.

The suspect is described as white, in his 20s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, and 200 pounds.
