Mistrial Declared Against Fisette
A Spokane County judge Wednesday declared a mistrial in the trial of a notorious motorcycle gang member.
Superior Court Judge Paul Bastine made the decision after jurors said they couldn’t reach a verdict after seven hours of deliberations.
Kenneth “Maggot” Fisette is charged with possession of a stolen handgun.
Two months ago, prosecutors tried to convict Fisette of first-degree burglary. That jury acquitted him of the charge.
Fisette, former president of the Ghost Riders, is scheduled to stand trial next week in Spokane on another first-degree burglary charge. Prosecutors may also request a new trial on the stolen gun charge.
