Elderly Drug Trafficker Gets 15 Years In Jail

A judge sentenced an 88-year-old man to 15 years in jail on drug trafficking charges Friday, telling him he was getting off lightly because of his age.

He should have gotten 30 years, said High Court Judge Verina Bokhary.

Chan Chun-yeh was convicted of selling 88 pounds of heroin to two plainclothes policemen in February.
