Are Falcons Ready For Prime Time?

For most of the season, the Atlanta Falcons have been kept well concealed, even for the locals who stayed away from the Georgia Dome in sufficient numbers to ensure that all home games were blacked out.

With some 20,000 tickets still unsold, tonight’s game between the Falcons (2-10) and San Francisco 49ers (9-3) marks the 20th time in 23 home games that Atlantans get to see a movie instead of their local embarrassment. Alas, the rest of the country won’t be so fortunate.
