Everett To Have Mri

New Orleans Saints quarterback Jim Everett was scheduled for an MRI today after sustaining a concussion against the St. Louis Rams.

“This is probably the most severe (concussion) in the pros that I’ve had,” Everett said. “I had a mild one against Carolina this year. That’s it for this year, but I’ve had a few minor ones in my career. This is my first pretty good knock.”

Everett, who was still having headaches Monday afternoon, but said they were not as severe as earlier, said he expects to play Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.
