Cable Firm To Review Service Plans
TeleCommunications Inc., the Colorado company hoping to assume control of Spokane’s cable TV system, is expected today to review its plans for local service.
TCI officials have been invited to make a presentation to the Spokane City Council’s Cable Advisory Committee at 5:30 p.m. in the lower-level council briefing room at City Hall. The hearing is open to the public, said Bob Beaumier, the board’s attorney.
TCI in August petitioned the City Council for approval to take control of the Cox Communications Inc. franchise in Spokane. The move is part of a swap between the two companies of various cable systems around the country.
