Coeur D’Alene Girls Run Past Kellogg

Kellie Stern, Katelyn Tatum and point guard Patty Stranger each had eight rebounds Tuesday to lead Coeur d’Alene to a 74-46 non-league victory over visiting Kellogg.

CdA’s Shaylia Davis scored 13, hitting 5 of 7 free throws. Kellogg’s Amy Lemon scored 13 of her 15 points in the first half.

Sandpoint stops NC Carson Jeffres shot 9 of 12 from the field and scored 23 Tuesday to lead Sandpoint to an 83-61 non-league, season-opening win over visiting North Central of Spokane. Chris Blotsky shot 7 of 11 from the field for the Indians, who also opened their season.
