O’Dowd Pushes Viks To Rout Of Nampa

Lukas O’Dowd made 12 of 22 field goals, including 3 of 4 3-pointers, to score 28 points as Coeur d’Alene (2-0) completed a perfect swing through the Boise area with a 52-38 non-league boys basketball win Saturday over Nampa.

O’Dowd added 10 rebounds. CdA’s bus had to double back on the way home because snow closed a pass in the Blue Mountains of Oregon.

The Braves used a 15-point run in the third quarter to pull away to a non-league win over the visiting Timberwolves (1-1).

Chad Cheeley and Gabe Hern scored 12 apiece for the Timberwolves. Scott Erickson and Ryan Hilliard scored 14 apiece for the Braves, who had a 2-to-1 edge in free-throw attempts.
