Sandvick Triumphs In Rodeo

Bareback rider Larry Sandvick, who came back from broken ribs and compressed vertebrae in July, scored an 81 on Skoal’s Elk Mountain for first place in the second go-round of the national finals rodeo.

Tuff Hedeman of Morgan Mill, Texas, won the bull riding go-round with a 86 on Slick Willie. Bud Longbrake of Dupree, Okla., scored an 85 to win the saddle bronc go-round.
