Vandals Dismiss Junior Marcus Wallace

Idaho basketball player Marcus Wallace has been dismissed from the team because of poor academic performance, coach Kermit Davis said Wednesday.

Wallace is a junior forward who transferred from College of Southern Idaho. In one of his better performances for the Vandals, Wallace came off the bench to score 12 points against Simon Fraser last Sunday.

Wallace pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace in late November and was fined $596.
