Rod Dowhower resigned under pressure as Vanderbilt’s coach, and the athletic director wants to replace him with someone driven to win.

Vanderbilt just finished its 14th straight losing season.

“It’s important today that you have a head coach that has some real competitive instincts,” said athletic director Todd Turner.
