Myrick Hits For 28 As Nic Trips Dixie

North Idaho jumped out to an 18-point first half lead and then hung on for a 93-90 Scenic West Athletic Conference win over Dixie College Saturday in St. George, Utah.

Shawn Myrick scored a game-high 28 to spark the Cardinals offense. Chris Harrison and Cameron Banks added 17 points apiece.

The game was tied several times in the second half. Myrick and Banks scored key baskets late in the game to put the Cardinals up by five and force Dixie to foul.

North Idaho improves to 3-1 in conference play and 10-1 overall.
