Nampa Attorney Sent To Prison

From Staff And Wire Reports

A longtime Nampa bankruptcy attorney was sentenced Monday to five months in prison and two years of supervised release for bankruptcy fraud and filing a false tax return, U.S. Attorney Betty Richardson said.

Steven A. Adamson was sentenced in U.S. District Court after pleading guilty to two counts of fraud and one tax return charge.

U.S. District Judge Lynn Winmill also ordered Adamson to make restitution of $13,500 to two bankruptcy trustees, and pay a $2,000 fine. He surrenders his license to practice law in Idaho for five years.
