Senior guard Kenya Wilkins hit a 10-foot jump shot with 18 seconds left and added an insurance free throw to lift the unbeaten Oregon Ducks (7-0) to a 61-58 victory over the host Boise State Broncos (2-5) Friday night.

After trailing by as many as 10 points early in the second half, Boise State tied the score at 58 with 47.9 seconds left on a field goal by guard Gerry Washington.

NE Illinois 78, Oregon St. 63

At Chicago, William Keys sank four 3-pointers and finished with 17 points in leading the Golden Eagles (6-2) to victory over the Beavers (3-4). J.B. Bickerstaff topped Oregon State with 12 points.

California 76, Penn St. 63

At East Rutherford, N.J., Ed Gray scored 26 points to lead the Golden Bears (6-2) to victory over the Nittany Lions (5-2) in the opening game of the Jimmy V Classic doubleheader at the Meadowlands.

Arizona St. 83, Jackson St. 69

At Tempe, Ariz., Jeremy Veal scored 18 of his 28 points in the second half to lead the Sun Devils (6-2) past the Tigers (2-7).

Rodger Farrington added 18 points, six steals and four blocked shots in ASU’s fifth consecutive victory.

At Clemson, S.C., Greg Buckner scored 11 points, including seven in a decisive first-half run that sent the Tigers (9-1) to an easy victory over the Terriers (3-5).

At East Rutherford, N.J., Antawn Jamison scored 21 points as the Tar Heels (8-1) won their seventh consecutive game, beating the Minutemen (3-6) in the Jimmy V Classic.
