Pullman Wins In 3 Ots, Keeps Bafus On Hold

The wins are getting more difficult as Colfax coach Bob Bafus guns for career victory No. 600.

Pullman (4-1) made 7 of 10 free throws in the third overtime Friday to edge the host Bulldogs 67-60 and deny Bafus No. 598.

Colfax (0-6) led by 11 points after three quarters, but Brent Cummings scored 10 of his 22 in the fourth to force OT. Brian Kehne’s late basket in the first OT tied the game at 49, then Kehne hit a 3-pointer with 5 seconds left in the second OT for a 56-all tie.

Cummings had four points in the final OT to secure the win. Colfax’s Bob Stoner finished with 12 rebounds, while Brent Damery scored 23.
