Jack Borley, Rathdrum, reported Friday the $60,000 theft of a backhoe from property on the corner of U.S. Highway 53 and Ramsey Road.

Wilson Blake, Rathdrum, reported Monday the $2,225 theft of a crossbow, ski equipment and miscellaneous items from a storage unit in Hayden.

Wilhelmus Heijmans, employee of U-Do-It Rental Center, reported Thursday the $477 theft of carpet-laying equipment when it was rented and not returned to the business at 6792 Government Way.

Terry Estes, superintendent for Shea Construction, reported Thursday the $4,110 theft of tools from a job site on the 5500 block of McGuire Road.
