Man Arrested In Theft From Salvation Army
Police arrested a 28-year-old man Friday in the theft of $5,500 from a Salvation Army building.
James A. Brown was lodged in Justice Center Jail.
He is accused of stealing the money from a safe in the building. He was employed as a maintenance man at the time of the theft.
The stolen money included cash, coins and checks.
Police recovered all the money except for about $400 in cash.
