Jamar Curry scored 18 of his season-high 23 points in a second-half rally Friday night as No. 24 Oregon stayed unbeaten with an 82-62 victory over Temple in the first round of the Far West Classic in Portland.

The Ducks (8-0), off to their best start since going 10-0 in 1974-75, play Oregon State, which beat Bradley 72-60, for the tournament title tonight.

Oregon outscored the Owls 38-13 in the game’s final 8-1/2 minutes after trailing most of the contest.

Temple (4-3) had aggravated the Ducks most of the night with its matchup zone defense and led 35-27 at halftime.
