Post Falls Uses Teamwork To Topple Lakeside, Wash.

Post Falls had five players in double figures, led by Chad Quesnell’s 16 points, and beat the Lakeside (Wash.) Eagles 85-62 at the West Valley Tournament on Friday.

The Trojans pulled away with a 29-point fourth quarter.

Brason Alexander added seven assists and Austin Lee seven rebounds for Post Falls (4-2). Mike Dasenbrock scored 13 for Lakeside (5-2), which had won five straight.

The other game, Bonners Ferry against the host WV Eagles, was canceled because of travel conditions for BF. Post Falls plays WV at 8 tonight.

Brian Sears had 18 points and 12 rebounds, and the host Panthers (6-2) had 19 steals in beating the Eagles (2-3).

Tim Teterud had six steals.

Lakeside’s two-day schedule at the Spartans’ tourney was canceled because of bad roads.
