Man Sought On Assault Charge

A suspect in an armed assault is this week’s Secret Witness target.

Dontay Watkins, 19, is wanted in connection with a Dec. 22 assault of a woman in the 2900 block of North Hogan Street. Police said the incident appears drugrelated.

Watkins has a conviction for felony possession of a controlled substance, and has an outstanding warrant for a driving violation.

Watkins is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds and is a gang member, police said. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Secret Witness at 327-5111. Callers do not have to give their names to be eligible for the cash reward.

Secret Witness is a civilian organization not affiliated with law enforcement. Callers are encouraged to use a code name or number for future contact about a reward.
