Best Pal Retires

Best Pal, the third-ranking money winner in thoroughbred history, has been retired following an eighth-place finish in his last outing. Best Pal, who first raced in 1990, will return to Golden Eagle Farm, near Ramona, Calif., where he was foaled Feb. 12, 1988.
