Byu To Host Texas A&M;

The National Association of College Directors of Athletics announced Brigham Young University will host Texas A&M for 1996’s inaugural Pigskin Classic on Aug. 24.

By scheduling the game for Aug. 24, at noon, the Pigskin Classic edged the Kickoff Classic for the honor of being the first contest of the 1996 college season.

The Kickoff Classic the next day will have the more prestigious matchup, however, sending Penn State against Southern Cal at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
