Matthews Rejoins Argos

Don Matthews, the former Ferris High School football coach and University of Idaho assistant, , who won a CFL title with the now-defunct Baltimore Stallions, returned to the Toronto Argos as head coach and general manager.

Matthews, who signed a three-year contract, guided the Argos to a 10-8 record in 1990 before leaving to join Orlando of the World League of American Football.

No other contract details were released.
