Ccs Rallies Late, But Falls To Cbc

A late rally by the Community Colleges of Spokane fell short on Wednesday night in an 83-75 loss to Columbia Basin.

CCS closed to within four points late in the game after trailing 46-29 at halftime.

CCS was led by Damian Schug, who had 15 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Shane Rice added 10 points, hitting 3 of 4 from 3-point range.

Jed Palmer shot 6 of 8 from the floor and pulled down seven rebounds for the Sasquatch, who hit 60 percent of its shots in the second half.

Darryl McKelvey led CBC with 22 points, hitting 6 of 7 from the line.
