Gonzaga At San Francisco

Tipoff: Gonzaga (16-6, 7-3 in West Coast Conference) takes on the Dons (13-9, 6-4) in a WCC match at 7 p.m. in Memorial Gym.

At a glance “It’s a four-game season now, and they’re all important,” GU coach Dan Fitzgerald said. “USF gave us all we could handle at home (a 60-55 GU win).” The Dons are only a game out of first place, and this is their final home weekend of the season. These two teams lead the WCC in scoring defense, with USF guard Gerald Walker ranking fifth on the NCAA’s all-time steals list. The Dons have held teams under 60 points nine times this season - winning each time they’ve accomplished that feat.

Key players: Gonzaga - Paul Rogers, 16.8 ppg; Rogers, 8.1 rpg; Kyle Dixon, 5.6 apg. USF John Duggan, 13.8 ppg; Duggan, 4.7 rpg; Gerald Walker, 4.7 apg.

Radio: KJRB (790 AM) with Dick Wright 15 minutes before tip-off.
