Prison Releases

The following people were released during January from Washington Department of Corrections prisons:

Joe Tharp - Sentenced in Whatcom County to 20 years, seven months for second-degree murder, Tharp was released to Spokane after serving 18 years, six months and 14 days.

Norman Highfill - Sentenced in Clark County to three years, four months for rape of child, Highfill was released to Spokane after serving two years, two months and six days.

James Jennings - Sentenced in Spokane County to four years, three months for violent sexual abuse of a child, Jennings was released to Lewis County after serving two years, 11 months and three days.

Donald Meier - Sentenced in Spokane County to one year, six months for indecent liberties, Meier was released to Spokane after serving nine months and 21 days.

Joseph Davis - Sentenced in Spokane County to one year, eight months for sexual abuse of a child, Davis was released to Spokane after serving one year, five months and 28 days.

Charles Hughes - Sentenced in Spokane County to four years, seven months for sexual abuse of a child, Hughes was released to Snohomish County after serving three years and four days.

Terry Wallace - Sentenced in Snohomish County to two years, 10 months for sexual abuse of a child, Wallace was released to Spokane after serving one year, 10 months and two days.

Jeremy Coe - Sentenced in Kitsap County to five years, one month for first-degree robbery, Coe was released to Spokane after serving three years, two months and 13 days.

John Leland - Sentenced in Spokane County to four years, seven months for first-degree robbery, Leland was released to Grant County after serving three years and 17 days.

Eric Brown - Sentenced in Spokane County to one year, three months for second-degree robbery, Brown was released to Spokane after serving nine months and 22 days.

Troy McGee - Sentenced in Clallam County to one year and one month for second-degree assault, McGee was released to Spokane after serving seven months and 28 days.

Paul Becker - Sentenced in Spokane County to one year, two months for vehicular assault, Becker was released to Stevens County after serving 10 months and four days.

Kenneth Rodgers - Sentenced in Spokane County to two years, nine months for assault, Rodgers was released to Spokane after serving one year, seven months and 13 days.

Joseph Morgan - Sentenced in Spokane County to three years for assault, Morgan was released to Oregon after serving one year, nine months and eight days.

Jude Laplant - Sentenced in King County to eight years, two months for first-degree kidnapping, Laplant was released to Spokane after serving six years and 10 months.

Shawn Pierce - Sentenced in Spokane County to one year for second-degree burglary, Pierce was released to Spokane after serving six months and three days.

Benjamin Stewart - Sentenced in Yakima County to one year for second-degree burglary, Stewart was released to Spokane after serving six months.

Richard Berry - Sentenced in King County to four years and one month for second-degree burglary, Berry was released to Spokane after serving 12 months and one day.

Susan Geddings - Sentenced in Okanogan County to five years, 11 months for second-degree burglary, Geddings was released to Spokane after serving three years, 10 months and 13 days.

George Nylen - Sentenced in Spokane County to three years, four months for second-degree burglary, Nylen was released to Spokane after serving two years and three days.

Kevin Saunders - Sentenced in Grant County to one year for second-degree burglary, Saunders was released to Spokane after serving six months and 22 days.

David Osmonson - Sentenced in Spokane County to three years, eight months for theft, Osmonson was released to Spokane after serving two years, 11 months and one day.

Raul Diaz - Sentenced in Spokane County to one year and one month for a drug crime, Diaz was released to U.S. Immigration after serving six months.

Kelly Duran - Sentenced in Chelan County to three years, five months for a drug crime, Duran was released to Spokane after serving two years, four months and 10 days.

Jeri Munson - Sentenced in Skagit County to two years, six months for a drug crime, Munson was released to Spokane after serving one year, seven months and 25 days.

Dennis Jones - Sentenced in King County to one year, nine months for a drug crime, Jones was released to Spokane after serving one year, one month and 26 days.

Carlye Phillips - Sentenced in Spokane County to one year, nine months for a drug crime, Phillips was released to California after serving one year and eight days.
