Kellogg’s Fisher Shows Jacks Why He’s Iml Scoring Leader

Despite sitting out the last 11 minutes, Kellogg’s Casey Fisher showed why he is the leading scorer in the Intermountain League as he poured in 24 points and led the Wildcats to a 64-34 victory over visiting St. Maries in boys basketball Friday night.

The Wildcats (16-3, 7-2) jumped out to an early lead and never gave it up, going up by 22 at halftime.

The Lumberjacks’ (7-9, 2-5) only scorer in double figures was John Dawson with 10 points.

Kellogg faces Priest River tonight, and St. Maries travels to Lakeland. Both games start at 7:30.

The Eagles’ Jared Horton showed why he is the second-leading scorer in the North Star League as he had 25 points to lead his team over visiting Kootenai.

Horton hit his first 16 free throws and had 21 rebounds for FC (7-10, 2-5). Scott Johns scored 12 for Kootenai (1-13, 0-8).
