Santa Clara 64, St. Mary’s 61

In Santa Clara, Calif., Steve Nash scored 21 points and Santa Clara claimed a share of the WCC lead with a victory over St. Mary’s.

Nash had two free throws, a steal and an offensive rebound in the final minute as Santa Clara set up a showdown at Gonzaga Saturday for the WCC regular-season title.

Brendan Graves had 11 points and 11 rebounds for Santa Clara.

David Sivulich scored 13 points for St. Mary’s, which scored only two points in the final 2:33.
