Perot Will Attend Town Hall Meeting
Ross Perot, the Texas billionaire who ran for president in 1992, is scheduled to attend a town meeting here on federal campaign reform.
Perot will join members of the Washington congressional delegation today to push for the passage of bipartisan bills to limit special interest contributions and require that most money be raised within a candidate’s district.
Perot will be accompanied by U.S. Sen. Patty Murray and U.S. Reps. Jack Metcalf and Linda Smith, as well as Anne McBride, national president of Common Cause.
