Jury Finds Moon Not Guilty In Domestic Violence Case
Several jurors who acquitted Warren Moon say the violence depicted in testimony and photographs of his scratched and bruised wife is normal for married couples.
The 39-year-old quarterback was acquitted of misdemeanor assault Thursday by the four-woman, two-man jury in the eight-day trial in Richmond, Texas.
Moon was accused of hitting, scratching and choking his wife during an July 18 argument that Felicia Moon says was provoked when she threw a candleholder at her husband.

Moon was accused of hitting, scratching and choking his wife during an July 18 argument that Felicia Moon says was provoked when she threw a candleholder at her husband.
“I feel like we all have problems in our marriages,” said juror Rachel Rogers. “I’m sure all of us have some violence in our marriage that just hasn’t come out.”
After the trial, Felicia Moon said she went to the police station and gave a statement of the events to punish her husband.
