Small Quake Shakes Sunshine Coast

A small earthquake shook the Sunshine Coast area north of Vancouver just after noon Thursday.

No damage or injuries were reported.

John Cassidy of the Pacific Geoscience Centre in Sidney, British Columbia, said the quake registered 3.9 on the Richter scale.

It was centered in Jervis Inlet and felt over a wide area of the Sunshine coast and east Vancouver Island.
