Princess Diana Won’t Be Rushed

Compiled From Wire Services

Princess Diana hasn’t decided to divorce Prince Charles and won’t be rushed into a decision despite the queen’s demand that they divorce and be quick about it, newspaper reports say.

Diana’s personal attorney, Anthony Julius of the firm of Mishcon de Reya, confirmed that they had met Friday to discuss her options, but said no announcement was imminent.

Two newspapers this week quoted unidentified friends or advisers of the princess of Wales as saying she was resigned to a divorce.

But Saturday’s Sun quoted Diana as telling an unidentified friend, “I will not be stampeded into making any decisions on principal issues or on actual terms.”
