Alice Anderson Named Employee Of The Year

Alice Anderson has been named Employee of the Year by the management staff at Templin’s Best Western Resort in Post Falls.

Anderson has been employed by the resort since March of 1986. She works in accounts payable and is also responsible for purchasing.

She was selected because of her willingness to take on new job tasks, loyalty to Templin’s Resort, positive work attitude and trustworthiness.

Jason L. Stierle, has enlisted in the Army’s Delayed Entry Program as part of Signals Intelligence/ Electronic Warfare Operations.

Stierle, who departs to Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., later this month, joined the Army for skill training, experience, college funds and to meet mental and physical challenges.

He is a 1992 graduate of Sandpoint high School and the son of Erwin Stierle of San Fransisco, and Marcia Stierle of Clark Fork, Idaho.

Several area youths have been nominated by Sen. Dirk Kempthorne for appointments to military service academies in 1996.

Juliaetta:

Glenn Heimgartner, Annapolis Naval Academy.

Moscow:

Lael Matthews, Colorado Springs Air Force Academy; Annapolis Naval Academy.

Moyie Springs:

Conrad Bicknell, Colorado Springs Air Force Academy; Annapolis Naval Academy.

Pinehurst:

Jason Morrison, Annapolis Naval Academy.

Post Falls:

Eric Martin,Colorado Springs Air Force Academy. Darren Zycheck, West Point Naval Academy. Kurt Selberg, Annapolis Naval Academy.

Rathdrum:

Charity Dooley, West Point Military Academy, Annapolis Naval Academy, Merchant Marine Academy.

Troy:

Travis Hazeltine, Colorado Springs Air Force Academy.
