New York became the first team in NBA history to defeat the Celtics 12 times in a row Tuesday.

The game marked the return of Patrick Ewing, who was playing for the first time since Dec. 28, when he sprained his right ankle against Cleveland.

Ewing played only 26 minutes and scoring just nine points, but he got 11 rebounds.
