Plenty Of Room On The Bus Roof

Police cracking down on overcrowded public vehicles said Tuesday they found 153 people packed onto a 75-seater bus.

Eight were on the roof and the rest were jammed inside “like sardines,” said police spokesman Helmand Shoko at Beitbridge on the South African border.

The bus, owned by the Shu-Shine rural transport company, was nabbed at the end of a 200-mile trip from Bulawayo.
