Seniors Set For Shrine Game

Compiled From Wire Services

Nebraska quarterback Tommie Frazier wants to prove he has an NFL-caliber arm. Florida receiver Chris Doering hopes to show off his speed. And it’s a curtain call for UCLA’s Terry Donahue, who will coach a final time in today’s game at Stanford, Calif.

But all of the players want to end their amateur careers by making some real big money - for the Shriners Hospitals for Crippled Children.

“I’m one of those guys that will do anything if I know I can help a kid,” said Frazier.

Skip Peete, older brother of Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Rodney Peete, has been hired as the running backs coach at UCLA, the school announced Friday. Skip Peete comes to UCLA from Rutgers, where he coached the wide receivers last season.
