Robert and Bonnie McGowan celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Jan. 1, with a dinner at Patsy Clark’s.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Layne and Patti McGowan, and Dawn McGowan, all of Spokane; Scott and Lynn McGowan, Harrington, Wash.: and Dan McGowan, Tukwila, Wash.

Married Jan. 14, 1946, in International Falls, Minn., the McGowens have 11 grandchildren.
