Two Removed From James Jordan Murder Jury

Compiled From Wire Services

Two jurors were dismissed Wednesday from the trial of a man accused of murdering basketball star Michael Jordan’s father.

The women were found to have discussed the case between themselves and to have formed an opinion about defendant Daniel Andre Green’s guilt or innocence, said Superior Court Judge Gregory Weeks.

The jury heard no evidence Wednesday as prosecutors and defense lawyers met with the judge in his chambers. Weeks eventually replaced the women with two alternates, then sent the panel home. The trial was to resume today.
