St. George’s Holds Off Crusaders

St. George’s opened a 17-point lead at Northwest Christian on Friday. The comfortable margin became uncomfortable in the second half, but the Dragons (10-0, 12-2) held on for a 54-52 Panorama League win - their eighth consecutive victory overall.

Jason Ala scored 20 for St. George’s and Meng Tseng made three free throws down the stretch to seal the win. For the Crusaders (7-3, 9-5), Josh McCormick scored 12 third-quarter points and Andy Crouch added 10 second-half points.
