Turkish Troops Kill 18 Militants

Turkish troops killed 18 leftist militants in an overnight operation in the mountains around this eastern town, an official said Saturday.

The soldiers, pursuing the militants after they ambushed and killed three soldiers earlier this week, killed the militants in their hideouts.
