Indians Outshoot Falcons In Foul-Fest

Reardan won an encounter between two streaking teams by standing still.

The fifth-ranked Indians (9-2, 14-2) made 36 of 45 free throws, including 28 of 33 in the second-half, to top visiting Sprague-Harrington 81-72 in a Tuesday Bi-County League game.

James Kiger had 21 points, 14 rebounds and eight steals for Reardan, which has won nine of its last 10.

The Falcons (8-3, 11-6), who went to the free-throw line 23 times, saw their six-game win streak end.

ACH led 42-40 before it made two quick baskets, then salted the game with free throws.

Ritzville’s John Galbreath pulled down 11 rebounds and dished out six assists.
