A $500 scholarship for summer field ecology study at the Audubon Camp in the West is being offered by the Spokane Audubon Society.

The Haggin Memorial Scholarship will be offered to an applicant who must have a commitment to the environment and must be at least 18 years old by the beginning of summer. The camp is a widely acclaimed program of week-long studies in the Whiskey Mountain Wildlife Conservation Camp in Wyoming’s Wind River Mountains.

Applicants must present a letter of recommendation, a personal information sheet, and a 500-word essay explaining how they would benefit from the camp.
