Geiger Inmate Escapes From Fairgrounds Work Detail

A 27-year-old inmate is on the loose after escaping from a work detail Monday, Geiger Corrections Center officials reported.

Authorities are looking for Scott A. Hahn of Spokane. He was serving a 275-day sentence after being convicted last year of drunken driving with a suspended license.

He was last seen cleaning out stalls at the Spokane Interstate Fairgrounds about 2:30 p.m., officials said.

Authorities did not provide a description of the man.

Anyone with information about Hahn’s whereabouts is asked to call Geiger at 456-3259.
