Masked Men Rob Tidyman’s Store

Two masked bandits brandishing handguns robbed employees and customers at the Tidyman’s Warehouse Foods store at 6401 N. Cedar shortly before 2 a.m. Thursday.

Witnesses told police that both men wore bandanas covering their faces. One held his gun to the head of an employee and ordered the clerks and customers to lie on the floor, police report.

The robbers made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and a wallet before leaving through the rear of the store, police said.

No one was injured.

One of the suspects was described by witnesses as a thin white male, between 18 and 25 years old, and between 5 feet 3 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall. He wore a hooded gray sweatshirt, dark pants and black gloves.

The second man was white or Hispanic, thin, between 18 and 25, about 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.

One carried a stun gun in addition to a revolver, police said.
