Gm Considers A Larger Saturn

From Staff And Wire Reports

General Motors’ board of directors will vote next month on a plan to build a midsized Saturn at the company’s Delaware assembly plant, bypassing the Saturn plant in Tennessee, published report said today.

Citing GM documents, USA Today said most parts for the car will come from from non-GM factories, some of them foreign, and none from the Saturn plant in Spring Hill, Tenn.

Saturn spokesman Greg Martin said Friday that talk of future product lines is very speculative. He would not confirm that a vote has been scheduled.
