Mosquitoes Wait Until It’s Safe

Cold weather won the World Championship of Mosquito Killing this year, slaughtering enough skeeters to cancel the event.

But the bugs staged a comeback. And now the organizers are kicking - and slapping - themselves.

Last year’s warm, damp weather provided prey aplenty for 21 slap-happy contestants, who killed 370 mosquitoes in five minutes with their bare hands.
