Injuries Pile Up At Running Of Bulls

Two people were gored and four suffered minor injuries Friday during the sixth day of the running of the bulls at the San Fermin festival in northern Spain.

Jose Ramon Lacosta, 37, was in serious condition after being gored in the armpit and buttocks by one of the six bulls that make the 800-yard run each morning during the nine-day festival.

Another Spaniard, Angel Irurtia Imaz, 34, was in serious condition after being gored in the groin.

Three Spaniards and a 52-year-old American woman, Mary Rocklein of Isla Santa Elena, Pa., were treated for bruises after falling or being trampled during the run.
