The committee plans to discuss the Fire Department’s command staff reconfiguration.

Spokane City Council

Monday, 3:30 p.m. briefing, lower-level conference room

6 p.m. regular meeting

The council plans to discuss using automated traffic enforcement known as photored and photo-radar. Council members also will consider annexing 104 acres known as the Grandview annexation and issuing $2.9 million in bonds to pay for Albi Stadium improvements, new office space and police car computers.

Spokane Hearing Examiner

Tuesday, 9 a.m., second-floor conference room

Clint Townsend wants to build five homes on 1.6 acres near the intersection of Elm Street and 12th Avenue. Also, Lawrence A. Bogar wants to build four, two-story fourplexes on the southwest corner of Haven Street and Marietta Avenue.

Spokane Library Board

Wednesday, 4:30 p.m., room 1A

Spokane Public Library, 906 W. Main

The board will discuss the River Park Square redevelopment project.

Cheney School Board

Wednesday, 6 p.m., 520 Fourth St., Cheney

Regular meeting.

Spokane City Council

Thursday, 3:30 p.m. study session, lower-level conference room

The council will discuss the 1997 budget.
