Sutton’s Towing Honored By Allstate Motor Club

Sutton’s Body Shop and Towing of Post Falls was recently cited as one of the towing industry’s pioneers and received the Pioneering National Certification for Tow Operators during a national ceremony last fall.

Sutton’s, honored by the Allstate Motor Club, the Towing and Recovery Association of America (T.R.A.A.), and American Towman Magazine, was one of 200 towing firms nationwide to be honored for its professionalism and leadership in being among the first towing firms to participate in the certification testing.

Level I of the National Driver Certification tests tow operators on basic towing knowledge, safety and customer service professionalism. The National Certification Program was developed by T.R.A.A. to raise tow operating standards and provide motorists with a standard level of towing related services.

Paulina Freeburg was recently presented with a Certificate of Completion from the Idaho State Library for completing a three-year alternative Basic Library Education (ABLE) program.

Freeburg, library director at the Plummer Public Library, received training in a range of areas, including reference materials and skill, collection development, cataloging and library management.

Joanna Mueller has been elected Sweet Adeline of the Year for her tremendous contribution, spirit and harmony to the Coeur d’Alene Chorus Sweet Adelines International.

Newly installed officers and board members of the Coeur d’Alene Chorus chapter include: Lois Bening, president; Jeanne Wilhelm, vice president; Jean Rohlman, treasurer; Phyllis Albee, corresponding secretary; Barbara Hamm, recording secretary; and Bettye Bracamonte, Mary Suckow, and Dorothy Shields, directors.
