Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: My pet peeve is the trend toward downsizing of products while keeping the prices the same, thus allowing greedy manufacturers to raise prices without attracting attention.

For example, it’s common practice for yogurt to be downsized to 6 ounces instead of 8, but 6 ounces is not enough for a meal and the 8-ounce size is no longer there. What do they expect consumers to do, eat two 6-ounce cups? It should be the law that the packaging should have to reflect any downsizing. - Shirley Richardson, San Angelo, Texas

Dear Heloise: I hate finding a wrinkle in my clothes after I’m dressed but don’t have time to take it off and reiron. All I do is spray the wrinkle with water and blow-dry it. The wrinkle disappears! - Debbie Churchill, St. Phillip’s, Newfoundland, Canada
